Bio:
Sean studied Music at Paul McCartney’s famous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. While there Sean had regular tuition from Loose Tubes founder Steve Berry and received masterclasses from musicians such as John Patitucci, Paul Turner and Michael League, being exposed to some of the best influences the bass world has to offer.
Nowadays he is a busy session musician who has worked on cruise ships, orchestra pits, radio/TV, festivals, and sports stadiums, often alongside well-known personalities. Some of his live experience includes playing in the world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton’s ‘Boys in the Photograph’ musical, providing music for various events surrounding the London 2012 Olympics and the launching/maiden voyage of P&O’s Adonia with Shirley Bassey and Marti Webb.
Sean is also a veteran in the studio, featuring on variety of projects and albums in such esteemed locations as Parr Street Liverpool and Real World Studios.
As a tutor he offers quality one to one lessons covering both electric and upright basses delivered in Taunton. He is a faculty member at some of the leading colleges of music in the south-west including Richard Huish, Weston College and the Guildhall School of Music.
