There are some weddings that simply take your breath away, and Georgette and her partner’s special day at Aldwick Estate was one of them. Yalhamhayes had adorned the venue with breathtaking floral arrangements, adding a delicate elegance that perfectly complemented the rustic charm of the estate.
As guests took their seats, the soft, emotive melody of Adele’s Make You Feel My Love played gently in the background. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and anticipation as the bride prepared to make her entrance. Then, as the first notes of Einaudi’s I Giorni filled the air, all eyes turned to Georgette. She was a vision of grace in a breathtaking gown with a flowing train, moving gracefully towards the love of her life. It was a moment of pure magic.
The ceremony, officiated by the wonderful registrars, was filled with emotion. The vows were beautifully spoken, bringing tears to the eyes of family members and even the best man. Every word was met with love and support from those who had gathered to witness this union. As the couple sealed their vows, an air of joy and celebration took over. With cheers and applause, they made their way back down the aisle to the lively and triumphant sounds of Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered—a perfect choice for the start of their new chapter together.
Following the ceremony, guests spilled out onto the sun-drenched patio, where champagne and canapés flowed freely. Laughter and conversation filled the air as everyone basked in the glow of the day. Inside, the fire roared as the space was transformed in preparation for the drinks reception. I had the privilege of providing the live soundtrack for this special moment, playing on my Korg SV-2 with a self-contained PA. The melodies drifted through the venue, adding to the romantic and joyful atmosphere.
As the evening drew in, Kieran Clark took over as DJ, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of dancing and celebration. From start to finish, the day was nothing short of perfect—filled with love, music, and memories that will last a lifetime.
